New Member Scholarship

About this program

The National Association of School Nurses (NASN) offers its New Member Scholarship to promote membership and support attendance at its annual conferences. One new member will receive up to $1,500 for registration, travel, and lodging at the in-person conference, while another will receive access to the virtual conference; recipients are selected by random drawing in April.

Eligible applicants must be at least 18, currently licensed as registered nurses in their state of employment, employed as school nurses, and first-time NASN members who joined during the 12-month period ending March 31. No separate application is required, as eligible new members are automatically entered; NASN board members, staff, contractors, and their immediate families are excluded.
