Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA) is launching the Next Steps program with a 2026 RFP—Preclinical/Clinical Advancement of Cellular and Vaccine Therapies for Acral and Uveal Melanoma (including GNAQ/11-related melanomas)—to accelerate development of cellular and vaccine therapeutic approaches. The RFP will support preclinical, pre-IND, and clinical-stage studies with milestone-based awards ranging from $50,000 to $1,000,000 and project durations of 1–3 years. Eligible applicants are investigators at academic medical centers and universities worldwide, and submissions must include a research proposal, detailed budget, and a clearly defined milestone plan with timeline.
