About this program
The NSCA Foundation, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, provides grants, equipment awards, scholarships and coaching-advancement funding to support research, education and practice in strength and conditioning. Programs span undergraduate and graduate students (master’s and doctoral), RSCC and military personnel, personal trainers, and early-career to senior investigators, with named awards such as Directed Research, Young Investigator, Senior Investigator, equipment grants and professional support grants. Research applicants must submit a Letter of Intent Nov 1–Nov 30 (11:59 am MTN); invited full proposals are prepared Dec 23–Feb 15 (11:59 am MTN) and application status is posted via the Foundation’s LOI/application portal; Directed Research ideas may also be emailed to Foundation@nsca.com. Award distribution is subject to available funding and applicants must meet the specific eligibility and evaluation criteria detailed in the LOI instructions.
