About this program

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) provides $15 million in funding over five years for the Saving Threatened Wildlife project in Viet Nam, aimed at combating wildlife trafficking and protecting endangered species such as tigers, pangolins, and elephants. Implemented by WWF in partnership with TRAFFIC and Education for Nature-Vietnam, the project focuses on policy advocacy, law enforcement training, and reducing consumer demand for illegal wildlife products. While specific eligibility criteria are not provided, the project engages with national and provincial stakeholders, particularly in wildlife trafficking hotspots. There is no cost-sharing requirement for this opportunity.
