About this program
The AAFP Foundation’s Outstanding Program Award recognizes exceptional philanthropic programming or development projects led by AAFP Chapters or Chapter Foundations. One program is selected annually, and the recipient receives up to $1,000 in travel reimbursement to attend the award presentation at AAFP FMX. Eligible nominees must be programs of AAFP Constituent Chapters or Chapter Foundations organized as 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) entities, with each state permitted one nomination annually. Nominations require a signed recommendation letter and are accepted March 15 through May 1.
