About this program
The AAFP Foundation’s Outstanding Program Award recognizes one exceptional philanthropic program or project of an AAFP Constituent Chapter or Chapter Foundation each year. The selected recipient receives up to $1,000 in travel reimbursement to attend the award presentation at AAFP FMX. Eligible nominees must be programs of Chapter or Chapter Foundation organizations classified as 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6); each state may submit one nomination annually. Nominations, including a signed recommendation letter and representatives’ names, are accepted March 15 through May 1.
