Paleontological Society Geoscience Policy Internship

About this program

The Paleontological Society, in partnership with the American Geosciences Institute (AGI), will fund two 7-week Geoscience Policy Internships to support graduate students in developing research/policy projects and gaining hands-on experience with the policy-making process in Washington, D.C. Interns will work remotely with AGI and the Society’s Governmental Affairs subcommittee, include a ten-day in-person residency at AGI headquarters in Alexandria, VA, receive a $6,750 stipend, and produce a final product for PS members; the start date is flexible. Applicants must be current Paleontological Society student members enrolled in a graduate geoscience-related degree program and eligible to work in the United States.
