About this program

Paratek Pharmaceuticals funds Investigator-Initiated Research (IIR) grants and independent medical education grants to support scientifically rigorous clinical and preclinical studies and bona fide educational activities that improve patient care in relevant therapeutic areas. IIR proposals are submitted via Paratek’s online IIR portal and must be led by qualified investigators; educational grant proposals with an itemized budget should be emailed to grants@paratekpharma.com and submitted at least 60 days before the event (internal dates: Feb 26, May 28, Aug 27, Nov 19, 2026). Requests for standard powder for non‑clinical microbiology studies should be sent to MedicalAffairs-Research@ParatekPharma.com, and routine clinical lab testing inquiries to medinfo@paratekpharma.com. Applicants must include a clear scientific or educational rationale, protocol/agenda, investigator or organizational qualifications, and a detailed budget; Paratek evaluates requests on scientific merit and potential patient benefit.
