The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation’s Pardes Humanitarian Prize in Mental Health is an annual international award presented in New York that honors an individual or organization whose extraordinary, lasting contributions have improved the lives of people with mental illness and advanced understanding of mental health; the recipient receives an honorarium. Nominations are solicited worldwide for work that demonstrably expands access to care, reduces stigma, advances research or policy, or otherwise delivers transformative humanitarian impact in developed and developing settings. A distinguished international selection committee chooses the laureate from submitted nominations.
