Permian Basin Area Foundation Grants

About this program

The Permian Basin Area Foundation provides grants to qualified nonprofit organizations serving the Permian Basin and TransPecos regions for projects in areas including arts and culture, education, health, environment, community development, housing, human services, and youth development. Applications are accepted for spring and fall cycles, with the next listed deadline on October 1, 2026. Eligible organizations must be locally established or have local staff, board members, or an office in one of the Foundation’s designated Texas counties; statewide and national organizations without a local presence are ineligible. Nonprofits may apply once every two years and must contact the Foundation by September 15 for the fall cycle.
