About this program

The Pew Scholars Program in the Biomedical Sciences at The Pew Charitable Trusts provides grants to selected academic institutions to support the independent research of young investigators conducting biomedical science relevant to the advancement of human health. Awards are intended for researchers in the early years of their careers—typically within the first few years of an appointment at the assistant professor level—who demonstrate outstanding promise and independence.
