Pfizer Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) and General Research Grants

About this program

Pfizer’s Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) and General Research grant programs fund independent, investigator- or organization‑sponsored studies that advance medical and scientific knowledge; ISR grants support preclinical and clinical (interventional and non‑interventional) studies involving a Pfizer asset (including investigational drugs or Pfizer’s pure compound library), while General Research grants support studies unrelated to Pfizer assets such as health services research, registries, epidemiology, and outcomes research. Pfizer may provide financial and/or non‑financial support and the global program is open to researchers worldwide. Applicants must act as the study sponsor (investigator or organization); ISR proposals must involve a Pfizer asset and General Research proposals must not, and projects should align with Pfizer’s areas of interest (e.g., oncology, rare disease, vaccines/antivirals, inflammation/immunology, internal medicine, anti‑infectives).
