About this program

The Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) offers the Innovation in PH Research Award, a grant of up to $60,000 per year for two years, to support innovative and meritorious projects in pulmonary hypertension (PH) research. This funding aims to explore new paradigms, challenge existing ones, and address underrepresented PH patient populations, including diverse ethnic, socio-economic, and geographic groups. Eligibility is open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or non-residents employed at a U.S.-based institution, with the requirement that principal investigators hold only one PHA grant at a time. Proposals must emphasize diversity, equity, and inclusion in study design and research team composition.
