Philip K. Caves Award

About this program

The International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT) offers the Philip K. Caves Award annually to recognize the best original research presented orally by a trainee at its Annual Scientific Meeting. The recipient receives complimentary registration to the following year’s Annual Meeting. Applicants must be students, residents, fellows, or scientists in training; current ISHLT members or individuals working under an ISHLT member; and the first author and presenter of the abstract, and must not have previously received the award. Eligible first authors are automatically considered when submitting an abstract.
