Pittsfield Education Enrichment Fund Grants for Pittsfield Public Schools

About this program

The Pittsfield Education Enrichment Fund, administered by Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, awards grants to enhance and enrich student and teacher experiences in the Pittsfield School District by funding direct project costs (not salaries) for activities such as independent study, new programs, extracurriculars, visiting speakers, artists-in-residence, professional development, equipment, library resources, and field trips. Awards range from $500–$1,000 for non-arts integration projects and up to $5,000 for arts integration projects; larger arts integration grant applications are due October 15, 2026 and are submitted via the PEEF application portal and reviewed by the PEEF Board and Berkshire Taconic’s board. Eligible applicants include students, teachers, administrators, staff, parents, nonprofit organizations, and community members of the Pittsfield School District; projects must not replace public school funding, should prioritize volunteer involvement and demonstrate additional support, and applicants/organizations must adhere to the fund’s non‑discrimination policy.
