About this program

PKD Australia Ltd is offering Research Grants 2026 to fund Australian research that advances understanding of Polycystic Kidney Disease or improves patient outcomes and quality of life, supporting discovery/basic, clinical, translational, psychosocial/public health and other PKD-relevant studies (e.g., transplantation, cardiovascular, hypertension, dietary support). Applicants must be researchers conducting PKD research in Australia; Early Career Researchers must have completed a PhD or attained FRACP no more than five years prior to application. Proposals are evaluated by PKD Australia’s Scientific Advisory Board and ad hoc reviewers, funding is conditional on appropriate human/animal ethics approvals and compliance with national research codes, no indirect costs or GST are payable, progress reports are required every six months with a comprehensive final report within 60 days, outputs must acknowledge PKD Australia, open access is encouraged and commercial IP income-sharing may be negotiated.
