The Henry Luce Foundation, in partnership with the American Council of Learned Societies, offers post-doctoral fellowships for scholars with a focus on China studies. Aimed at supporting the publication of PhD dissertations or new research projects, the fellowship requires a working knowledge of Chinese and provides stipends for travel, living, and research expenses, with a minimum award of $25,000. Applications are open to post-doctoral scholars in the arts, humanities, and social sciences, with a November deadline, and other support may be accepted but must not exceed 125% of the fellow's academic annual salary.
