About this program

The Chicago Community Trust offers the Arts & Culture for Community Wealth Collective Power grant to support projects that integrate arts and culture into public spaces, fostering economic growth in underinvested communities. This $3.9 million initiative prioritizes community-driven projects in historically underinvested areas, focusing on public space activation, engagement, and economic opportunity. Eligible applicants include organizations with established community partnerships, such as cultural institutions, public art organizations, and Community Development Corporations, based in or primarily serving Cook County. Projects should be in the late planning stage with established partnerships, and recipients will receive technical assistance and participate in peer learning opportunities.
