About this program
Prince George's County Government and the Chesapeake Bay Trust offer mini grants to support community-driven litter reduction and citizen engagement projects in Prince George's County, Maryland. Projects should engage and educate residents, students, and businesses through activities such as community cleanups, Adopt-a-Stream events, storm drain stenciling, and similar efforts to make communities cleaner and greener. Eligible applicants include community-based organizations (homeowner associations, civic associations, nonprofits) and small municipalities; faith-based organizations are encouraged to participate as partners with a community lead. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until fiscal-year funds are exhausted; contact Nguyen Le at (410) 974-2941 x110 or nle@cbtrust.org for questions.
