Prince George’s County Rain Check Rebate

The Chesapeake Bay Trust, in partnership with Prince George’s County, offers rolling rebates to support stormwater management practices that reduce runoff, pollution, and impacts on local waterways. Eligible improvements include rain barrels, cisterns, rain gardens, conservation landscaping, urban tree canopy, pavement removal, permeable pavement, and green roofs, with lifetime property limits of $6,000 for residential and $20,000 for commercial, industrial, and institutional properties. Applicants must be property owners in Prince George’s County, Maryland, or qualifying nonprofits installing projects on public property; properties in the City of Bowie and projects required for construction or renovation permits are excluded. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and most projects require pre-approval before installation.
