Prix Galien Canada – Innovative Product Award

The Health Research Foundation of Innovative Medicines Canada, through Prix Galien Canada, annually awards the Innovative Product Award to the company whose drug product launched in Canada is judged by an independent jury to have made the most significant overall contribution to patient care, evaluated on efficacy, safety, patient benefit and innovation. The prize targets products that represent a breakthrough with major impact on standards of care; recent laureates include Sanofi (Beyfortus, 2025) and Bristol‑Myers Squibb Canada (Camzyos, 2024). Eligible products must bear a Canadian Drug Identification Number (D.I.N.) and have been launched between 12 and 60 months prior to submission, and submissions should, where applicable, document Canadian contributions to discovery/development and related publications.
