About this program
The AABB Foundation Process Development Grant provides up to $100,000 for one-year projects that improve the efficiency, effectiveness, quality, safety, or financial performance of blood- and biotherapies-related operations and patient or donor care. Priority is given to innovative processes, techniques, technologies, or studies with potential for broad dissemination and adoption. Applicants worldwide at any career level may apply if they are physicians, PhDs, medical technologists, or transfusion medicine or biotherapies professionals affiliated with an administering institution. Applications for 2027 grants are due December 1.
