Radiology Resident Research Grant

About this program

The SIR Foundation offers up to $20,000 for one year to support project supplies and equipment for radiology residents conducting research that advances interventional radiology and patient care. Awardees must devote at least 25% of their time to the approved project under scientific mentorship. Applicants must be full-time residents in accredited clinical radiology programs at U.S. or Canadian institutions, designate a project advisor, and secure at least three months of protected research time from their residency program. Applicants cannot receive concurrent support from another SIR Foundation research grant and must apply by January 15, 2027, at 5 p.m. EST.
