About this program
The Royal Canadian Geographical Society awards annual Graduate Research Scholarships to support graduate-level geographical research with a geographic focus anywhere in Canada. A total of up to $13,000 is allotted each year, with individual awards of up to $5,000. Eligible applicants are Master's and Doctoral students registered at Canadian universities, and applications are reviewed and adjudicated by a curated committee. Applications are due February 14 annually, and the committee may decline to award candidates in any category in a given year.
