About this program

The American Chemical Society (ACS) offers the Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Scholars Recognition Program to honor individuals who excel in leadership, mentoring, fostering inclusion, and promoting research safety within the chemical sciences. This program aims to acknowledge their contributions to academic institutions and the ACS community. Eligibility requires nominees to be current graduate students or postdoctoral scholars, nominated by their department, with a limit of one graduate student and one postdoctoral scholar per category, and a maximum of three nominations per department. Recognized scholars receive a certificate and are featured on the ACS website.
