About this program

Intuitive Foundation funds a range of programs including research grants, clinical research awards, da Vinci Research Kit (dVRK) project support, robotic surgical and bronchoscopy fellowships, and community STEM/outreach initiatives to advance robotic surgery, clinical training, and surgical education. Awards support investigator-initiated studies, fellowship training, device-related research, and programs that improve surgical education, patient care, or community engagement. Eligible applicants are generally clinicians, surgical trainees, researchers, academic or clinical institutions, and community organizations with projects aligned to the Foundation’s mission and must meet the Foundation’s application, institutional approval, and applicable regulatory/ethical requirements.
