About this program

Research For Life, a foundation, offers Travel Grants to assist (but not necessarily fully fund) travel and related costs including registration for individuals presenting medical research at appropriate scientific meetings (in person or online); no fixed maximum award is specified (an example mentions up to $3,000) and funds must be expended for the described purpose. Applications must be submitted in Word format by email to office.researchforlife@gmail.com (to the Research For Life Secretary) with a signed Administrative Agreement; applicants will receive an acknowledgment on receipt. Required materials include personal data, purpose and potential significance, objectives with a detailed title and preferably an abstract, travel plans/itinerary, budget and justification with priorities, letter of support where applicable, an abbreviated CV (maximum two pages), a 100‑word media summary and a high‑resolution recent photo. Successful recipients must provide a report of attendance beginning with a 100–200‑word media summary and noting any resulting publications or presentations; institution approval/signature is required where applicable.
