About this program

Saving tiny Hearts Society (StHS) offers one-year grants of up to $100,000 to support investigator-initiated, peer-reviewed basic, translational, or clinical research on congenital heart defects and related pediatric heart diseases. The program prioritizes early-stage science, innovative hypotheses, and research addressing COVID-19’s impact on these conditions. Independent research faculty at institutions worldwide are eligible to apply, and proposals must be submitted in English. Applications are due by midnight CST in March 2027, with funding beginning June 1, 2027; indirect and administrative costs are not supported.
