Research-Practice Partnerships: Collaborative research for educational change

About this program

The Spencer Foundation offers the Research-Practice Partnership (RPP) Grants Program to support collaborative education research projects aimed at generating knowledge and improving educational outcomes across diverse settings, from early childhood to adult learning. Proposals are accepted internationally, with budgets up to $400,000 for up to three years, including indirect costs. Eligibility requires partnerships between academic researchers and practitioners, with PIs and Co-PIs holding an earned doctorate or equivalent professional experience, and affiliated with a non-profit or public institution. Graduate students may participate but cannot serve as PIs or Co-PIs, and proposals must be submitted in English with budgets in U.S. Dollars.
