Bone Cancer Research Trust is running a 10-year Research Strategy & Grant Programme (2022–2032) to fund primary bone cancer research in the UK, aiming to maximise impact and attract larger follow‑on funding; the charity has awarded over £11M to 240+ projects since 2006. Priority areas include nurturing early‑stage researchers, pilot grants to develop ideas, national and international interdisciplinary collaboration, access to primary tissue and clinical data, and active monitoring and communication of research impact, with calls published 18 months in advance. Researchers and research teams working on primary bone cancer research are eligible, with UK-funded studies preferred but international collaborations welcomed; a Clinical Trial Grant is provisionally earmarked for 2028 if an appropriate early‑stage treatment or surgical study is ready, otherwise those funds may be reallocated.
