Richard J. Lazzara Fellowship in Advanced Implant Surgery

Sponsored by Zimmer Biomet and administered by the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation, the $50,000 Richard J. Lazzara Fellowship supports a 12-month fellowship providing advanced educational and clinical experiences in contemporary implant surgery. Funding includes a stipend for the fellow and support for the host institution’s overhead and administrative costs.

Applicants must apply jointly with their periodontal program director and be third-year students in an accredited U.S. periodontal postdoctoral program at the application deadline. The fellowship must be completed at the student’s current training institution, and applications are due March 1.
