About this program

The American College of Radiology (ACR) offers the Richard L. Morin, PhD, Fellowship in Medical Physics to support one or two early‑career medical physics residents by providing hands‑on experience with ACR staff and governance. Fellows receive fully funded attendance to the ACR Annual Meeting and a fully funded one‑week trip to ACR headquarters in Washington, D.C., during the fellowship year, and may earn a $500 stipend for publishing an article or completing a project. Applicants must be ACR members enrolled in a CAMPEP‑accredited medical physics residency who will have completed at least one year of clinical training by mid‑2025 and have at least one additional year remaining; required application materials include a completed form, a ≤500‑word personal statement, two ≤300‑word statements (prior experiences and goals), current CV, program director/chair support attestation, and two reference letters, with the application period opening in early January.
