Administered by Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, the Richmond Educational Enrichment Fund (REEF) provides grants up to $1,000 to enhance and enrich educational experiences for students and teachers at Richmond Consolidated School (RCS). Eligible applicants include RCS students, teachers, administrators, staff, parents, nonprofits and other community members; grants cover direct project costs (not salaries), will not replace public school district funding, and preference is given to new, volunteer-driven projects that demonstrate additional support. Typical awards of $100–$1,000 may fund independent study, new programs, extracurricular activities, visiting speakers, artists-in-residence, teacher professional development, equipment, library resources, and class field trips; applications are reviewed by the REEF Board and must be submitted by October 15, 2026.
