RISE (Researching Injustice and Social Equality) Research Award

About this program

Association for Psychological Science Student Caucus offers the RISE (Researching Injustice and Social Equality) Research Award to support psychological science on socially and economically under‑represented and international populations, with up to three winners receiving $500 each. Current APS student members (undergraduate, graduate, or those transitioning between degrees) apply by submitting a poster via the APS Call for Submissions for the Annual Convention; submissions are reviewed by a panel of student reviewers. Applications must include a project title, abstract, and a project summary with Introduction/Background, Methods, Results, and Discussion sections (each limited to 500 words) and must report completed work with results; students may enter only one APSSC competition per academic year (travel assistance excluded).
