About this program
The IBMA Foundation’s Neil Rosenberg Bluegrass Scholar Award recognizes the best bluegrass-related paper accepted by a juried academic conference in the previous year, supporting high-quality scholarship on any aspect of the genre. The 2025 recipient will receive a $500 honorarium and admission to the next IBMA Business Conference and Awards Show. Eligible applicants include graduate students in MA or PhD programs and scholars who earned their PhD within the past five years. Applications must be emailed to Ben Krakauer by June 30.
