Neil Rosenberg Bluegrass Scholar Award

About this program

The IBMA Foundation’s Neil Rosenberg Bluegrass Scholar Award recognizes high-quality research on bluegrass music and offers a $500 honorarium plus admission to the next IBMA Business Conference and Awards Show. Eligible applicants include graduate students in MA or PhD programs and scholars who earned their PhD within the past five years. Submissions must be bluegrass-related papers accepted by a juried academic conference in the previous year or revised master’s or doctoral theses of no more than 10,000 words, due June 30, 2025.
