Rudolph Masciantonio Latin Teacher Classroom Grants

About this program

The Society for Classical Studies offers Rudolph Masciantonio Latin Teacher Classroom Grants of up to $1,200 to support class-related activities that expand access to resources and foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in K–12 Latin education. Funds may support field trips, JCL or NLE participation, classroom books and technology, and professional development. Eligible applicants are K–12 Latin teachers at public or independent schools, with preference for programs serving students with limited financial resources, underrepresented students, and students from marginalized backgrounds; SCS membership is not required. Applications are due May 31 or November 30 annually and must include project, school demographic, equity-impact, and budget information.
