About this program
NASPA’s Center for Women offers the Ruth Strang Research Award to recognize a NASPA member whose scholarly contributions advance understanding of womxn and gender in higher education, including traditional and nontraditional scholarship. Nominations are accepted July 29–October 1, 2026, for the 2027 award. Nominees must be current NASPA members who are enrolled undergraduate, graduate, or postdoctoral students, college faculty, or professionals in student affairs or related fields, and must submit a nomination, scholarly contribution summary, references, and link to the full submission.
