Schermerhorn, John and Mary Memorial Scholarship Fund

About this program

Community Foundation of Noble County offers the Schermerhorn, John and Mary Memorial Scholarship Fund, a one-time $500 award given annually to one graduating high school senior pursuing a career in an agriculture-related field. Applicants must be Noble County residents graduating from Central Noble, East Noble, or West Noble High School and plan to enroll in an accredited associate or bachelor’s program in an agricultural field; the award may be used for tuition, books, and academic fees (not housing or personal living expenses). Apply via the Scholarship Apply Portal (GrantInterface/CFNC) by creating or logging into an account, completing the eligibility quiz, CFNC Main Application and any matched scholarship applications, and submitting all materials by Jan. 14, 2027 at 11:00 PM; funds are disbursed to the school upon submission of an acceptance form and deferment requests can be discussed with the foundation.
