SFNTC Foundation Grants for Native American Organizations

About this program

Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company (SFNTC) Foundation awards project-specific grants, typically $10,000–$20,000, to U.S. nonprofit organizations that preserve, promote, and advance American Indian self-sufficiency and culture, with priority for entrepreneurism, higher education (college, graduate, postgraduate), and cultural preservation (arts, language, historic preservation). Funding targets community-building, education completion programs, and Native-driven arts and cultural initiatives; general operating support will not be considered. Applicants must be IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) organizations in good standing that serve Native American communities and must submit proof of tax-exempt status with their online application. Grant recipients are required to provide follow-up reports on project progress and fund usage and must repay funds if they are used improperly.
