Short Term Grant for Armenian Studies

About this program

Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation offers Short Term Grants to support Master’s and PhD students, academics, and researchers in Armenian Studies to attend international conferences and summer courses, conduct field research, or carry out small research projects. Grants are awarded up to €5,000 and fund stays or projects of up to three months. Eligible applicants include qualified students and researchers working in Armenian Studies broadly defined across the social sciences and humanities, with preference for younger scholars; researchers based in Armenia who wish to travel abroad should apply to a separate travel grant. Applications are submitted via MyGulbenkian with all mandatory fields and documents, are reviewed monthly, and are accepted until 4 December 2026 (decisions communicated through MyGulbenkian).
