Shrader STEM Teaching Grants (AFCEA Educational Foundation)

About this program

AFCEA Educational Foundation’s Shrader STEM Teaching Grants provide up to ten classroom awards of up to $3,000 each to support U.S. high school STEM teachers in developing and implementing innovative STEM curricula, hands‑on activities, and educational technology for the 2025/2026 school year. Applicants must be current instructors of science, technology, engineering, or math in grades 9–12 at U.S. high schools, with priority given to schools demonstrating high economic need; each school may receive only one grant. Proposals must include a project description and statement of need, goals/objectives, timetable, detailed budget and materials list, expected student impact, number of students served, and a principal’s letter of recommendation; awardees must provide outcomes and photos and permit AFCEA to publicize project materials. Grants are awarded on a rolling basis and applications are currently being accepted via the AFCEA application link.
