Skin Cancer Foundation Research Grants

The Skin Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit organization, awards annual Research Grants to fund one‑year projects focused on the prevention, detection, or treatment of skin cancer, with two $50,000 awards and one $25,000 award (totaling $125,000). The program has supported more than $2 million in research since 1981 to help early‑career investigators launch studies with clinical impact. Applications are for projects conducted in or in conjunction with dermatology departments of U.S. medical or academic institutions, and the 2026 application period is open. Eligible applicants are dermatology residents, fellows, and investigators within 10 years of their first academic appointment.
