Smith, Cecil C. and Bettie I. Smith Scholarship Fund

About this program

The Community Foundation of Noble County administers the Cecil C. and Bettie I. Smith Scholarship Fund, a renewable four‑year award of $3,000 per year (total $12,000) to support tuition, books, and academic fees (not housing) for students pursuing a teaching degree, accounting, or exercise science (priority in that order). Eligible applicants are East Noble High School seniors in the top 50% of their class who plan to enroll in an accredited college in one of the specified fields. Recipients must maintain a 3.00 GPA, remain in the indicated field of study, submit required paperwork to CFNC each year for continued payments, and apply through the CFNC Scholarship Apply Portal/CFNC Main Application by January 14, 2027 at 11:00 PM.
