About this program
The CAP Foundation offers up to $500 through the Sparking Interest in Pathology Award to support medical student-led projects that introduce, educate, and inspire fellow students to pursue pathology careers. Eligible initiatives may include pathology interest groups, educational events, speaker programs, or networking opportunities and must be sustainable, with funding excluding personal travel and indirect costs. Applicants must be actively enrolled at an accredited U.S. medical school, demonstrate a strong interest in pathology, and submit an application essay, faculty letter of support, CV, and professional headshot by December 1, 2026.
