Specialty Contact Lens Travel Grant Program

About this program

CooperVision offers the Specialty Contact Lens Educational Grant, a $1,000 travel stipend awarded to two individuals at each North American optometry school per calendar year to support attendance at a major optometry meeting. The grant funds students and residents presenting original research or patient case studies that specifically involve CooperVision specialty lenses (Paragon CRT for orthokeratology; Onefit family and SynergEyes VS for scleral; SynergEyes Hybrid for hybrid lenses). Eligible applicants are North American optometry students or residents who have not previously published on the patient case to be presented, and each school may submit up to two applicants per year. Applicants must submit a PDF of the accepted poster or paper, an abstract/preview, and the meeting name via email to professionalaffairs@coopervision.com (subject: CooperVision Specialty CL Educational Travel Grant); awards are managed on a calendar-year basis and are pending institutional approval.
