SPR Award in Honor of E. Mead Johnson – Pediatric Research Excellence

About this program

The Society for Pediatric Research, with support from Mead Johnson Nutrition, offers the annual SPR Award in Honor of E. Mead Johnson to recognize exceptional contributions to pediatric research and child health across clinical, translational, laboratory, and health services disciplines. One recipient receives formal recognition at the PAS Meeting, complimentary registration, travel and lodging support, and an honorarium. Nominees must hold an academic faculty position for 7–20 years and demonstrate sustained, independent, innovative research productivity through publications, grant funding, and national or international recognition. Nominations, due August 15–September 30, must include a curriculum vitae, detailed nomination letter, two support letters (including one external to the nominee’s institution), and three impactful papers published within the past five years.
