SPR Student Research Awards for PAS Meeting Abstracts

The Society for Pediatric Research (SPR) annually awards the Student Research Awards to recognize outstanding research by students across high school, college, medical, MD/PhD and PhD levels and to promote careers in academic pediatrics; three to six recipients are selected each year and present their work at the Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) Meeting. Applicants must submit the SPR application at the time of PAS abstract submission and have their abstract accepted for presentation to be considered. Eligibility requires first authorship on the PAS abstract, submission of required supplemental materials by the abstract deadline, a brief description of the applicant’s contribution, and that the student has not yet received the degree corresponding to their category (BS/BA, MD, MD/PhD or PhD) at the time of submission and presentation.
