About this program
The Sleep Research Society Foundation (SRSF) Mentored Collaboration Grant pairs trainees with limited local sleep/circadian mentorship with experienced mentors for in-person, state-of-the-art training and ongoing remote mentorship to produce a research product (e.g., conference abstract, manuscript, or grant proposal). Up to two awards of up to $3,500 each (fewer may be given) fund travel-related expenses for a one-year period requiring a minimum one-week on-site visit and continuing phone/video contact. Both mentee and mentor must be active SRS Members in good standing; mentees should be at Assistant Professor level or earlier as of January 30, 2025 and generally within 10 years of their terminal degree (exceptions may be justified). Applicants submit an online application including a mentor letter, mentorship plan, mentee goals and budget, prior interaction summary and visa documentation if applicable, and must provide a final report documenting progress and research products.
