About this program
The Society for a Science of Clinical Psychology (SSCP) seeks nominations for the SSCP Social Justice Impact Award to recognize SSCP members—one clinical scientist (any career stage) and one graduate student or postdoctoral fellow—who have made a unique, significant impact advancing social justice in clinical psychology; a $250 monetary prize is awarded to the trainee recipient. Impact may be demonstrated via leadership, service, advocacy, training/mentoring, or related activities and is evaluated for magnitude and significance relative to career stage. Nominees must be SSCP members; self-nominations and colleague nominations are welcome, and members of underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply. Submit a single PDF by email to the SSCP president including a nomination letter describing the nominee’s impact, the nominee’s CV, and two letters of support; for 2025 send materials to Shari Steinman (shari.alaina@gmail.com) by 2025-12-01.
